Valiant Solutions is on the Washington Business Journal's list of the largest employers in Greater Washington for the first time.

First time. That is the part worth pausing on.

This region is packed with federal contractors, and plenty of them have been doing this far longer than we have. Earning a spot on that list means Valiant has grown into a company with real scale in one of the most competitive labor markets in the country. Not a name on a bid. An employer.

Here is why that matters to us. A largest-employers list is really a headcount list, and headcount is just another word for people. Engineers. Analysts. Program managers. Security professionals who keep federal systems running while most of the region sleeps. Making this list means enough of those people chose to build careers at Valiant to put us on the map, and that is the accomplishment we are celebrating.

It has been a big year.
